Good news in The Oregonian today! Casey Parks’ article features Mad Bird Design client Peter Brandom, and two significant projects we worked on for the Hillsboro sustainability program.

A “quietly passionate conservationist,” Peter has advanced the city’s sustainability goals by launching a sustainability website and publishing a sustainability plan. I am pleased and proud to have contributed to both of these assignments, along with several others to develop a brand for the sustainability program and improve community outreach at public events.

  • THE WEBSITE: Mad Bird Design collaborated with Peter to present a wide variety of content for the fast-moving sustainability program — developing branding, graphics and photo art along the way. The new sustainability web pages launched in July at sustainability.hillsboro-or.gov
  • THE PLAN: Creating a branded look for sustainability documents, I provided desktop publishing and graphic design for the signature report of the city’s program. Download the plan online from the city’s website.

Congratulations to Peter and the Hillsboro Sustainability program! Being an on-call designer for the City’s Administration Department gives me the opportunity to work on rewarding projects like these. For more Mad Bird designs, check out my web portfolio and print portfolio.
