Website design costs depends on a number of factors, with sites starting at $5,000. Our approach is to learn about your goals, audience, and wish list for a new website – then tailor a proposal and budget to fit your project. Mad Bird Design creates customized, visually appealing websites on the WordPress platform. Whether your project calls for creating a brand-new presence online, or updating an existing site with a fresh look, we’ll provide exceptional support throughout the process – from planning and design through your website’s launch day!

All our sites are built to be responsive and mobile-friendly. This means you and your work will look good on any device. Traffic from mobile devices is growing fast – it’s important to optimize websites for mobile to avoid missing out on valuable traffic. Responsive design will give the website a bump in Google search rankings for searches on mobile devices. The website will be created with a flexible layout that seamlessly controls web page width and scale on different device types, adapting to the capabilities of many devices and screen sizes.

Search engine optimization (SEO) tools are included in all website packages. We also integrate Google webmaster tools (Search Console and Analytics) for performance reporting and information on how the website is being viewed and used.

Our websites are built so you can manage your own content with the WordPress Content Management System. After your new website is launched, you can request a training session and customized reference guide to help you get started.

Mad Bird Design is also a resource you can rely on for additional assistance with site updates or modifications. On-call support is billed at our hourly rate.

After your website is launched, a Website Care Plan is highly recommended for ongoing website care to make sure your site is looked after and maintained. This includes keeping software and licenses renewed and up-to-date, regular backups, security checks and making sure your website is online and open for business 24/7/365. When you have a Care Plan in place, Mad Bird Design will be your first point of contact should something go wrong with your website. We will determine whether it is an issue the hosting company needs to fix, or something that is covered by your plan.

Website Care Plans start at $150/month – costs vary depending on plugin software requirements.

Brand, identity, and logo design packages include a branding sheet, original logo artwork, font families and color palette. Design packages can be created to include any additional print or digital collateral needed. Identity, logo and brand development packages start at $2,000.

Animation can be a beautiful and engaging addition to your website or media campaign. Mad Bird Design works in a variety of 2D and 3D techniques, including hand-drawn illustration in whiteboard and full-color styles, stop motion, and motion graphics. Whatever the technique, animation is a great way to communicate ideas to a range of audiences. Animation packages start at $3,500.
