Branding, Logo, Website & Booklet Design

Mad Bird Design created a logo, brand identity, website and booklet for the Sisters Country Vision community visioning process. Sisters is a small town in Central Oregon, 20 miles from Bend – and a world away from the hectic life of the big city. Framed by the scenic Three Sisters peaks, the Sisters Country region is growing – a budding destination for music, arts and craft, recreation and tourism, and more. But growth and change are bringing new challenges to the area’s small-town way of life, and that was a major driver of the vision project.

To brand the project, the team wanted a logo that reflected the region’s central Oregon community atmosphere, western spirit, and natural features. The selected design brings that all together in a stylized modern design with contemporary, forward-looking fonts and clean graphic visual elements.

The visually appealing and accessible website invited the community to get involved, engaging nearly 2,000 participants in an in-depth conversation about the future. The vision booklet features vibrant community photos to reflect the natural beauty, community spirit, and vision of Sisters, Oregon.

“A huge THANK YOU to the publications team for the Best Visioning Booklet Ever! I love the clean presentation of information … so easy to consume the information and, so importantly, just the right amount/level of information presented to get people excited about the future and possibilities.”
