Website Design

Mad Bird Design created a brand-new website for Central Oregon’s CORE3 Center ( The responsive WordPress website combines visual appeal and functionality to establish an online presence for a proposed new regional emergency training and response center. The website introduces the vision and need to develop CORE3, a dedicated, multi-agency coordination center and collaborative training facility for local, state, and federal public safety and emergency management personnel. Website visitors can find out about the project’s funding, timeline, milestones, and leadership. A password-protected Members section gives access to internal meeting and planning documents.

After launching the new website, Michele led an online training session for COIC staff to demonstrate how to edit content and update the website with the user-friendly WordPress Content Management System. The staff appreciates the ease of keeping a library of PDF documents up-to-date and organized with the built-in PDF Manager tool.
