Mad Bird Design has achieved Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and Emerging Small Business (ESB) certification through Business Oregon’s Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity. Our creative design studio was founded in 2010 as a small, woman-owned business, and we have worked for government clients on a range of communication projects since day one. These new certifications will help our company stay competitive for contracting opportunities with state, county and city government agencies and special jurisdictions.
The certification process examines the financial, administrative and organizational details of the company to certify the legitimacy and independence of business operations, and ensures that the active and primary female owner and executive – yours truly – controls the daily and long-term efforts of the company.
