Meet Solar Sam & Sunny on their first date! I was given the event details and purpose – a workshop about solar energy which features “speed-dating rounds” through four tables of solar and energy-efficiency options – and came up with this concept and illustration design. Sam is wearing a suit made from solar panels (looking sharp!) Sunny is just irresistible, as any Northwesterner in October can understand.
The concept was a hit: first draft had very minor edits, then went to print.
